A seasoned trucker and trucking influencer has some important tips for drivers looking to coast through the upcoming CVSA Roadcheck.
Youtube channel Smart Trucking posted a video late last week outlining some important tips for drivers as the CVSA’s biggest trucker enforcement blitz quickly approaches.
This round, inspectors will be focusing on two specific areas – Hours of Service violations and lighting violations – during the 72 hours blitz from May 4th-6th.
In the video, Smart Trucking offers advice on checking brake lights yourself, keeping track of prior violation paperwork, and even one interesting strategy for avoiding violations during this time.
“I like to take those couple days off – it’s a good period to go fishing” he advises in the clip.
