$1,000 emergency grants being offered to Minnesota veterans

The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs will be awarding one-time financial relief grants of $1,000 to military veterans financially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Veterans looking to apply must be a veteran as defined by Minnesota statute 197.447 or a surviving spouse who has not remarried. They must also be a resident of Minnesota and be experiencing a negative financial impact caused by the pandemic.
