US military vehicle appears to have altercation with Russian truck in this viral video

A video of what appears to be a US military vehicle running a Russian military truck off the road has been circulating the internet recently. 

Although details have not been confirmed, the video was posted to social media and appears to have been taken from inside a civilian vehicle. 

The video shows a small convoy of Russian vehicles traveling behind two armored American Trucks. One of the Russian vehicles then passes the American trucks and is subsequently run off the road. The video is rumored to have taken place on a stretch of road near the Turkish border town of Qamishli, reported The War Zone. 

“We’re aware of the video and we’re looking into it at this point,” said Navy Capt. William Urban, a spokesman for U.S. Central Command, to Task & Purpose. 

The video has since been removed from many platforms.
