Veterans cemeteries in Massachusetts will resume military committal services on Friday after a three-month shut down due to coronavirus.

Both the veterans cemetery in Agawam and the veterans cemetery in Winchendon will resume the services on July 3rd and will include the customary folding of the flag, playing Taps, and a firing volley, reported Mass Live

Because of the pandemic, these services are limited to no more than 10 family members, who will be required to wear masks and maintain social distancing while inside the chapel.

Hand sanitizer will also be available at the entrance and exit to the chapels and doorknobs, chairs, and other high-touch surfaces will be disinfected between each service.

Services at the two cemeteries have been suspended since March 17th.
