The US Department of Veterans Affairs recently interviewed a World War II veteran looking to retrace his steps.

75 years after the Battle of the Bulge, US Army Veteran Harry F. Miller returned to Belgium to take a walk down memory lane and honor the soldiers he served with.

“It was a case where I figured because of my age it would probably be my last trip overseas,” Miller said.

“I wanted to go for the 75th to see if the people there still remembered it the way I did. And I was happy to find out that they did. And I’m glad I made it for that reason.”

“At least it wasn’t as cold as the first time,” he added.
