The Hingham Police Department in Hingham, Massachusetts is on the search for vandals that knocked over a row of headstones in a 350 year old cemetery. 

According to ABC 5, officers responded to Hingham Cemetery at around 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4th and discovered nine headstones knocked over on a hill between the Main Street and South Street entrances.

Several of the vandalized headstones belonged to veterans, but police do not believe that the culprit was targeting a specific group or family. 

Hingham Cemetery dates back to 1672 and acts as the resting place for numerous patriots, statesmen, militia members that helped to build and shape our country into what it is today.
