Mission BBQ first opened its doors on September 11th, 2011, exactly 10 years after the events of 9/11, with the intent to remind everyone what makes America great.

As a company focused on BBQ and American Heroes, Mission BBQ literally salutes our country’s veterans, police officers, firefighters, and first responders with a daily lunchtime salute to the American flag during the National Anthem, all because founders Bill and Newt believe in running a business with meaning and purpose.

“We strive every day to remind everyone what makes Our Country great—its heroes,” states Mission BBQ’s website.

“We do what we do for the love of our soldiers, firefighters, police officers, first responders—all our loved ones in service.”

The restaurant serves up fresh, authentic BBQ in locations across the United States, each with a dining room filled with patriotic decor donated to the location by “the people who earned them.”

Over the years, Mission BBQ has donated more than $10 million to organizations such as the Special Operation Warrior Foundation, the National Fallen Firefighters Association, CIA Officers Memorial Foundation, and Wreaths Across America, using the money made off of their restaurants. The company also focuses on hiring veterans in the community.

“At MISSION BBQ, we are Proudly Serving Those Who Serve. Come help us complete Our Mission.”
