Second Lady Karen Pence is scheduled to visit Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this week.
The visit is scheduled for Wednesday, July 29th and will include Secretary of Veterans Affairs Robert Wilkie, reported CBS Pittsburgh.
Both Second Lady Pence and Secretary of VA Wilkie will visit the VA Pittsburgh Health Care System and will participate in a roundtable discussion on art, dance/movement, and music therapy for veterans. The two will also participate in a discussion about veteran suicide prevention alongside VA therapists, and multiple veterans who are expected to share their experiences about with therapy through the VA.
Pence and Wilkie will also be visiting Forever Heart Farm, a local veteran-owned business involved in beekeeping as therapy for recovering veterans.
