Since its grand opening in 2019, Patriot Nissan’s General Manager, Matt Drohan, has put the support of our nation’s veterans at the front and center of the business – enter Patriot Nissan’s partnership with Veterans Northeast Outreach Center

The center, which serves Essex, Middlesex and Barnstable counties in Massachusetts, and Rockingham and Hillsborough counties in New Hampshire, provides veterans in need with food, housing, advocacy, counseling, case management, employment, education, and of course, peer support.

“Teaming up with the Veterans Northeast Outreach Center will enable us to serve veterans and their families in new ways,” said Drohan, who served in the U.S. Navy and with the Reserves.

“I have been fortunate to pursue my career in automotive, but I know other veterans from all eras have had difficulties returning to civilian life.”

The partnership, called “Patriot Nissan Service Drive Five for VNEOC,” is a fundraising initiative that will run through August 31st. During that time, Patriot Nissan will donate $5 to VNEOC for every vehicle serviced at their shop. These customers will also be able to register for a weekly raffle, which will award prizes to winners for the duration of the fundraiser.

“We’re all worried right now about the future,” said Tom Talbott, marketing director at Patriot Nissan.

“If this event serves as a reminder that no matter how we’re doing, that there are others who have it even tougher, then it was successful.”

“It’s important we rally our supporters and constituencies to champion the businesses that step forward to help make a difference in our communities.”

VNEOC says that they are looking forward to a “long-lasting partnership” with the dealership.
