Ram’s new truck lineup honors all branches of the military

Ram Trucks started the production of its second wave of military-honoring “Built to Serve” edition trucks at its Sterling Heights Assembly Plant in Michigan recently, continuing its celebration of all five of America’s military branches. 

The newest “Built to Serve Edition” of the Ram 1500 1/2-ton pickup truck rolled out on June 14th and features a nautical-inspired theme with both Ceramic Gray and Patriot Blue exterior colors offered along with a black interior with Light Ambassador Blue accent stitching.

“Ram truck owners, whether civilian or military, are familiar with the ‘Built to Serve’ adage as it’s something we strive to build into every truck and van we produce,” said Mike Koval, Head of Ram Brand, FCA – North America according to Truckinginfo. “Ram honors those who serve or have served in the United States with distinction and we continue to welcome volunteers to our Ram Nation volunteer efforts.”

A new “Built to Serve” edition is expected to roll out every three months – each one representing a different military branch. Each addition will be offered in limited numbers.

Ram “Built to Serve Edition” packages are available on all body styles and all powertrains.

As part of their Built to Serve initiative, Ram is heavily promoting their grassroots organization, Ram Nation, and encouraging members to donate their time and to volunteer in their own communities across the nation. Their goal is to reach  1.3 million volunteer-hours of service by next Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2020, which would amount to one service hour per person serving in our Armed Forces.
