J.B. Hunt Transportation Services hired it’s 10,000th veteran since 2014 in December, proving their commitment to helping US military veterans develop rewarding careers.

J.B. Hunt made it a company-wide effort to hire veterans back in 2014, committing to hiring 10,000 veterans before the year 2020. Now, thanks to their multiple programs aimed at helping veterans transition from service to a career in management, maintenance, office, or driving, over 15% of J.B. Hunt employees are veterans.

“There’s so much potential for veterans in this industry, so we’ve established a support effort to help them develop rewarding careers that match their skillset with our opportunities,” said John Roberts, president and CEO of J.B. Hunt.

“This was a bold and honorable goal for us, and I am very proud of all who helped make it happen.”

J.B. Hunt employs over 23,000 in 400 locations across the United States in positions such as driving, supply chain management, maintenance, and operations. If you are interested in a position with J.B. Hunt, please click here.
