The Wreaths Across America convoy will start its journey to Arlington Cemetery this weekend.

The annual escort to Arlington National Cemetery begins on Saturday, December 7th in Lubec, Maine with this year’s Grand Marshall in the lead, National President of American Gold Star Mothers, Mona Gunn.

The convoy will be making stops along the east coast at over 20 schools, churches, memorials, and more to “remember, honor, and teach” children and civilians about the importance and significance of our country’s veterans. A complete list of all the stops can be found here

The caravan will arrive at its final stop, Arlington National Cemetery, on Saturday morning, December 14th, where wreaths will be placed on the graves of the veterans laid to rest there.

“Wreaths Across America provides opportunities for us to carry out our mission – finding strength in the fellowship of other Gold Star Mothers who strive to keep the memory of our sons and daughters alive,” said Gunn.

“[We’re] working to help Veterans, those currently serving, their families and our communities.”
